AMCA'S crap on Gunnedah again

Race date booked 20 feb, get a call today 2 weeks out from racing to say sorry we have a race meeting at Nowra and need to drop Gunnedah !!!!! In November i got a call from amcas they said Nowra was cancelled and could we fit them in, about 6days out, we bent over and accomadated them. i am now faced with finding another division with 2 weeks notice, this is bullshit,what is going on??

PS i need 12 cars who's coming?

A run what ya brung deal.
I'll go order the lexan side wings now

4, 6 and 8 cylinder classes.
$100 to nominate. $250 a car from the promoter mimimum 12 per class.

Total prize pool per class $4200. 1st place $2000, 2nd place, $1500, 3rd place $700.

Just an idea

I'll nominate my two cars now.

They just cancelled the nsw title tonite cause it rained out...its running tomorrow night and there boss said no title this year..Lismore has been advertising a title race....Now nothing,,,just like in your case Reidy doesnt give a s##t about anyone.

they can't get there act together barry!!!!!!
next time they won't to run, tell them to go somewhere else and see how they get on.

Can we get this back on track please, its about a guy who busts his butt to provide a place for people to run and get disappointed by some racing sections.

just been speaking a mate who runs a AMCA & believes until Mr Reidy has nothing to do with AMCAS the divison might as well fold i know he was keen to have a run at Gunnedah

Dont some of you understand, the running and organising of each state is done by a state rep not michael reidy.

well who is running AMCA NSW then maybe that person needs to answer some questions about how this divison is being run in this state No very well by the look & sound of it but i suppose every div in speedway has this problem

Basically, its a bit of a shambles if you book a meeting, then call it off because you got a better offer. If you keep doing that, pretty soon you wont have any offers at all.
I agree with what was said before, MR doesnt book the state shows, its the state rep that does it.
When you book a show with a track, thats a commitment you now have to fullfil. If you go back on your word, well then the promoters wont bother talking to you again, what are they supposed to think next time you say your coming.
Most people I know, really look forward to going to Gunnadah.

No wonder the guy I was talking to the other week got out of AMCA and back into Street Stocks.

The problem is if the managment keep screwing over peomotors they will have nowhere to race and their members cars will become worthless relics.
