NORTHERN N.S.W. STREET STOCKER TITLE

PRIZE MONEY; 1ST $1000 + Trophy, 2ND $750 + Trophy, 3RD $500 + Trophy.
WHERE; Oakburn Park Raceway, Gunnedah Road Tamworth, (just past the airport).
DATE; 14th March 2009.- Racing at 5pm
FORMAT; Each car will contest 3 x 8 lap heats. The top 20 point scorers to go straight to the feature. The remaining cars to contest a 15 lap repercharge with the first 4 to join the feature in order of their finishing. Each driver must contest at least one heat if they are to share the driving of the feature race. The points are awarded to the car not the driver. There will be no club championship points to Tamworth members.
FEATURE; 25 laps, fuel stop and optional driver change (approx 15 min break) then the remaining 25 laps to be contested, lined up in the order of finishing the first 25 laps.
For all cars that don’t make the 50 lap main feature will contest a 20 lap” B Main Feature”1st $100 + trophy, 2nd $50 + Trophy, 3rd $25 + trophy (depending on cars left).
SCRUTINEERING; 12 noon to 4 pm sharp
DRIVERS BRIEF; 4.30 pm sharp. All drivers must attend
NOMONATION FEE; $20 per driver to be paid at Pit Gate on the day.. Nominations for this event are compulsory. No late nomination will be accepted. Nominations will be accepted by the return of your nomination form to:

CONDITIONS; Nominations are open to all Australian Street Stockers that meet the minimum FAS safety standards. All cars must be currently registered with an approved body (e.g., RAMS, RSA and ASCF etc.) And all drivers must hold a 2008/ 2009 license and be free from all fines and suspensions. Day licenses are available by contacting the secretary prior to nominating. DRIVERS PLEASE NOTE; Vehicles may be required to have a motor and or a fuel check at any time during the race meeting and after the feature race.

I've never raced at Tamworth before, can anyone reccomend a place to stay that has some room for trailers and is speedway friendly?

well the genarator failed before the finals then while they were fixing the problem it started pouring down and the meeting was washed out

Great meeting pity about the rain but like the say if you want it rain hold a race meeting.
