"Official" NSW 4 Cylinder Sedan Series Thread.

WELCOME EVERYONE.....

To the "OFFICIAL" NSW 4 Cylinder Sedan Series Thread.

From now on this thread will be used to relay information on the "ALL NEW" series that will promote 4 Cylinder Sedan Racing in a properly organised proposed 4 round series kicking off in the 2009/10 Speedway Season.

Please keep any posts related to the series ONLY and no hidden agendas, abuse, inuendo and definately no rubbishing the series.

This Series has been set up to try and foster and promote 4 cylinder sedan racing in NSW over the next few seasons and hopefully give drivers from the various junior classes somewhere they can continue their speedway racing activities without losing them either to another catergory or even worse the sport all together.

I hope everyone enjoys the thread and keeps all the information and banter on a positive note and not use it to bag other drivers, officials or the series itself.

For those who don't Know, Ray won the 2008/09 Shannon Civil NSW Modified Sedan Series in his super quick Portland Automotive - Mount Druitt Dyno Tune Falcon BF Great Friend Shane "The ASSASSINATOR" Duggan and defending Series Champion Kevin Sherwood in what was a great series.

Great to have you on board, and Ray's lovely wife Sue has entered the NSW 4 Cylinder Sedan Series next season so watch out fellas, Sue and Mandi Roy are comin' to get ya's.

How good is the variety in that field already?

Five different makes of car in the first half dozen listed and something like nine different clubs being represented.

Gonna be one heck of a spectacle when all you guys (and gals) roll out for the first event.

great job mac in getting this tread started thanks, its what we need to get the word out about the series, on the subject of the series, there will be 11 cars out of that series list racing at tamworth city speedway on the 27th june, we are all looking forward to running together and getting know each other before the series officially gets under way, not to mention the promotion side of this meeting we can use for the series which we will be doing eg: video/photos. cheers mark chiplin.

I understand there is a promoters conference coming up shortly. Is this where dates and rounds for 2009/2010 will be decided? If not roughly when can we expect to know what the dates and rounds are for 09/10.

yeah tania, conference this week end and as far as i know date's/track's will be worked out then, we should know something next week.

Hi Tania, I hope to have some more information after Saturdays Promoters Conference.

With a bit of luck we may even be able to lock some dates in.

I think I might be able to talk him in to lending me his old girl, but changing his engine I don't like my chances!
