| Off season poll With the onset of the off season comes some time to stop and think, for me anyway. So I thought I would get everyones opinion on something that I just can't work out as so many people have different views. More than one choice can be made Why do you race speedway?

| Re: Off season poll The frill, the friends, the places, the traveling 250km then having to turn around because of the rain out, camping on the side of the road, working on the car with the wife and kids, the fantastic feeling when you don't have repair panel damage after a meet. the oh sh?t when every panel coped a bashing. and the can't wait for the next meet 2 day's after " I have had enough". The inventor of speedway should be made a saint. |

| Re: Off season poll My deductions so far would be that : We all need more excitement in our lives the majority of us Need more friends friends and we all spend money we don't have  I would say that these would be standard answers to any hobby or sport involving financial input in any part of the country not just speedway. So can you answer me this question, why does speedway racing rate as low as it is on the sporting popularity gauge? (within the media and other sports that are less exciting but seem to have a huge following.) Is it promotion or some other reason?
