The Summerland Street Saloon Club held its annual presentation night on Saturday, June 27 at the Casino Golf Club.

The RSA award presentations covered the Street Stock, Four Cylinder Sedan, and Junior Sedan categories.

A big crowd was in attendance to watch the recipients collect their well-deserved hardware for the 2008-2009 season.

The top three in the RSA Street Stock Season premiership and the RSA Street Stock feature race pointscore were the same after Scott Owen was named the winner of both trophies. Steve Quirk was runner-up while Paul Reeves was third in both awards.

Meanwhile, Nicole Reeves was named Rookie of the Year for the RSA Street Stocks.

Trent Dhu was the winner of the Four Cylinder sedan season pointscore from Zac McDonald and Warren Dhu.

Mykel English took out the feature race pointscore over Trent Dhu and Zac McDonald.

It was a big night for McDonald who also was named RSA Four Cylinder Sedan Rookie of the Year.

Brock Armstrong took Club Championship honours for the Junior Sedan division.

In winning the trophy, he was overall top pointscorer for the season, while Kurt Wilson was placed second in the standings and Jordan Biviano was third placegetter.

Biviano was top points man for Junior sedan feature race competition, Armstrong was runner-up and Kurt Wilson third placed trophy recipient in main event points.
