ASCF website

whats happening with the ASCF website? NO Policy NO super sedan specs NO top secret meeting minutes since May 07 NO stewards meeting minutes since Oct 03 NO Tech Torque since Dec 06 NO Regulations. A little bit disappointing to say the least. Perhaps with more information available some of us armchair experts may make more informed comment

Re: ASCF website

agreed, i jumped on a few months back to clarify a debate we were having about my car here in the shed and couldn't find jack s... in the tech pages or specifications part?? Not sure bout that.

Ended up having to order a new rule book that i never got forwarded in the first place, that i had supposedly recieved by their records. had to pay for te new one... trivial i know but annoys me all the same....

I agree as well........we've had our own dramas with so called rulings that never were........perhaps they should get Jason Crowe to direct his attention to this part of the ASCF. He sure has been a breath of fresh air and done his job as the media person very well.

I do not have access to all parts of the website, I can only post articles and photos. I can not update anything else at this point in time. I am sorry that people feel the website is not up to date, I will pass your concerns on to those who may be able to do something about getting it rectifiied.

There has been on average one new story per day on the site for the last 16 months, hopefully that has been an improvement. I am always on the lookout for people to send me information, no matter how gramatically inept it may be - I will turn it into a story, and if there is a photo in jpeg format all the better, the picture helps tell the story and can also deflect from a lack of words on occassions.

I take on board your criticisms, I take my job seriously and have been heard to say on more than one occassion "my website", so I will take it upon myself to investigate. There is a National Conference next week which I can not attend, but I will email through items for the agenda so I can get answers for you.

I hope this will be sufficient. When I have an answer I will let you know. Again currently I can only post articles and pictures, nothing else.

And comments like this make me wonder why we bother ..... do we in Speedway always have to be negative. I can tell you when we go away, to conferences or to State or National Titles, we are very similar to drivers. We volunteer our time, take holidays from our employer and never really recoup the cost that it takes for us to get to and from. So if that is classed as bludging I will put my hand up, but I think your comment is off the mark on this occassion Mr Higgs, but you are entitled to your opinion.

Further to my previous post - I have emailed the National Office with the concerns which head this thread, and will provide an appropriate answer when one is forthcoming.

Well done Jason you have hit in right on the head.

And for a gentleman like you to take 10 weeks long service leave to do the things you love and have done in the past few months i think it is time for the drivers, hot heads and critics to start to get on the state or national boards to start saving there hobbies instead of bagging the sh** out of the volunteers that make there hobby where it is today.
