Super Sedan Nose Pieces

What is to come of the MD3 and other similar style front pieces? Will supers be running them next year. Was there a problem with the Botcher car? I see a few others are starting to run the now, the likes of Dan Miller..... Do the fit in with the rule book for super sedans? IMO I think they bring a great variation into the class, instead of looking at Grand Prix all the time... I am not fimiller with the ruling on the bodies for supers so could some one help me out?????

I THOUGHT THERE WAS A MEASUREMENT OF OVER HANG FROM CENTRE OF FRONT AXLE TO TIP OF NOSE CONE ! IS IT IMPORTANT THOUGH ?
I RECALLL BIG BAD BERT SHOWING UP IN TASSIE AUSTRALIAN TITLE WITH A CAR A BIT ON THE LIMIT BUT TOUGH LOOKING AND IT WAS CONSIDERED OUTSIDE THE RULES NOWADAYS THAT CAR IS IN SA AND WOULDNT RAISE AN EYEBROW !

IF THEY ARE COST EFFECIENT VISUALLY STIMULATING WHY NOT ?
AND HOW MUCH DOES A SUPER SEDAN BODY REPRESENT ACTUAL MODEL

THE ONLY RECOGNISABLE BODY SHAPES OUT THERE SEEM TO BE THE AUSSIE CARS ie FORD HOLDEN AND PANTERA MAYBE

Christ another tread for everyone to whinge on about supers, we've had one about engines, cockpit adjusters, roof numbers now nose pieces, whats next? colour's of cars, and they all seem to mention darren kane or the botcher cars, there the best team at the moment so everyone should get over it and move on, and dont think this thread won't turn into a **** fight because it will.

I was not looking for a cat fight, nor was I intending for the thread to single out the Botcher team, I apolagise, I think the car looks smart and am a I am a suporter of all the makes and designs.
It ( to me ) is alot more apealing to see a mazda and a camery then to see every second car looking like a grand prix.

must be the very latest models as none of the ones on the showroom floors at the local dealerships here look anything like those.

wouldnt worry about the ASSA , as the ASCF?SSA own the rule book for supers, and the new rule book will be going to print in the next week or so.
The MD3 nose is all thats going to be available in the near future, as the older style dirt noses are being phased out.

if you want to race a super sedan comply with the rules. dont like the rules go to a club meeting get 75% of members to agree to change them

How come only 50% of the vote made a rule change for the incar adjustments
I believe Going on the % the Ascf is quoting this takes about 50 dirvers out of 200 to change a rule how is this !!! again a loud vocal minority wins again, this why the current system is not fair for everybody.

So you would rather have the other 49% unhappy about time for a rethink!

I can only speak from what happened in Tassie, all the drivers got together and made their decision it was about a 80-20% split for banning everything .
If the other states can only get a small percentage of drivers to vote or voice there opinions then maybe the end result will never be a true indication of the whole division.
As someone else said earlier go to a club meeting and put your hand up.
Or then there is always the easier opition, do nothing say nothing then when a dicision is made bag the **** out of everyone for changing a rule.

SS NUT how appropriate, read the ascf website, 47% response rate (and apparently thats good ) Super Sedan competitors did not bother to reply. One must assume 53% are happy to go with the flow
