You are right sitting in the stands it does all appear rosey. As a recent person being involved I see a definte neglect to our Australian built cars and an introductry point to the division is definitely missing,an old saying comes to mind "if you don't have chasers you won't have races",a simple quote but very true.
A true entry level or second level is needed to encourage more competitors to the division, this is my thoughts and I know many ex and current drivers feel the same and that use to me my barrow to push but I have now let go of the handles.

I think according to the rotation system the 09/10 Australian title is meant to be hosted in the state of Queensland.

We would love to have the Aussie Title up here at the Maryborough Speedway. Hopefully our title submission gets accepted by the DMA and we can start planning for a huge weekend...

I don't think they decide until May, is that right?

As far as I understand there are three tracks currently in the running for the 09/10 title. These being Bris, Maryb. and Toowoomba and a decision I don't think will be made until the AGM in mid June.

It would of been great to have the Australian Title at the Maryborough Speedway but it has been awarded to Archerfield on the 1st & 2nd January, 2010.

    while i do like Maryborough.

the last time the title was held at BIS it was one heck of a meeting.

the same for the V8 dirt mod super series round 2 seasons ago when all the good guys where in town,

BIS is very good for dirt mods and it'll be a weekend of great racing.
