Thank's for the compliment but in the world of historical research you can go from "hero to zero" very quickly.
I'm to old to fall for that one young lady.
Bill, firstly do we agree on the date:23/2/1974?
If Max was there can you give me a car number.?
The whole prog has been filled in by the same person surely they could not have got the last event wrong,is 2nd & 3rd correct.?
I am suspicious that you say perpetual shield,it wasn't back in years previous as far as i know.
The only thing is Im going from scant memory after many years of speedway
The Max Kiddle number might have been number 5 or 45 I M NEARLY sure he drove a Mitchell and Townsend Car as he worked there
Did midgetminor drove or crew will he give that one away
Matey, do you not see the (?) after his name?? That means I am not 100% sure. That is why I have put the list up for everyone to see and possibly fill in the appropriate gaps. You say that the program was filled in by the same person, what person are you talking about?? And, yes, the date is correct as I have a copy, but this particular programme has not been filled out. No more riddles, please, if you have those results, fine. I'd love to have them. Someone needs to do them correctly. I'm only trying to do my best for the sport.
And you both are doing a fine job for the sport
Bill i'm not trying to cause a problem,Max just didn't appear at all,i can only go by what the programme owner wrote at the time.
Sorry but no.
On that night #5 was the Seidl Wildcat drivers--Bob Pymble & Mark Seidl.
#45 was listed as NZ45 driven by Kevin Gormley.
Mitchell & Townsend Chevy was NSW34 driven by Alan Streader.
You're wrong.i know that the #68 was a speed research car withan offy motor in it. not from America, Australian built.
I rate you Leadfoot!
y arent u all replying. r u all stumped at my reply to help needed for stats. the same car is also a championship winning car in the hands of a very talented ron mackay.
Can you print that in English please
2nd that here Miss I
"Proffesor Leadfoot", have I stumped you with my information on the #68 car? Do you need to phone a friend, take a 50/50 or ask the audience? Hoping to hear your reply.
I'd say his stumped. definitly. i'm with poombarules, identity is critical.
Leadfoot..... I finally remembered who won the Silver Cup (B Grade) in 04/05
Michael Pope - #18
Thanks Brayton. I will add to my list. Good to hear from someone who will assist in this very important list instead of the buffoons I seem to have attracted on here!
