Nah buddy, it's the street stocker title.
Whatever its called should be a great night of tin top racing. Good luck to all but my money is on L46 Tommy Vickery or L38 Scott Quirk.
Is there a nomination list available?

37 rsa stockers
1 board regoed
1 SSA street stock
good luck to all drivers and have a safe trip everyone

mick dan drove like the true chanpion he is just lacked tyres definately didn't lack ability full credit to oatsey and fawsett a good race and deserved winner i think the reason mick struggled was there was about 6 of us on the hill were i stood drivin the car with him [car might've got a bit heavy] lol well done everyone good show and i loved the chief stewarding hahahahahaha i'll slip you that 10er later lmfao
Congrats to all on a good night, But upon glossing over the posts made & going back to the original post, I would like to ask, was this the Bryan Foyle memorial race?
Foyle put his heart into trying to bring all street stock divisions together. I would like to think that legacy is continuing.
Glenn you & I had an in depth phone discussion just on 12 months ago of this very subject. I'm yet to see any results from that discussion.
My memories of what Foylie was trying to achieve will stay with me just as memories of Foylie will stay with me.
Dont sell me the gloss of your own agenda & dont ever forget who initially bolted the deal together of the street stock open! Go honour it!
There seems to be a lack of information on this thread about the results and running of the night and a lot of confusion, so as someone who was there and watched the whole thing i thought i might give you my in depth opinion, you are welcome to take it or leave it.
The Dubbo track was a great venue for the Australian title and provided the drivers with a track that had no set racing line, most drivers described it a rather challenging with some rutts developing as the night went on and the track also went slick but although challenging it provided great racing, cars taking many lines and passing opportunities all over the place. Cars up to 4 wide at times and very little contact or damage for most drivers in an Australian Title. Well Done Leanne Anning.
As for the draw each driver contested 3 heats, each round was broken up into 4 races e.g Heat 1A, 1B, 1C & 1D. As seems to always be the case in Titles all the major contenders were in the same heat all night, e.g Australia 1 Steven Quirk, NSW 1 John Lodge Jnr, Brett Mitchell, Brett Cotton and the VIC Mick Dunn. Tough qualifying for these guys while some other drivers had much easier heats. In these other heats Scott Quirk & Scott Owens were putting the points on the board. John Lodge Jnrs car had handling issues from the start and crashed heavily into the wall during the second round of heats and Scott Quirk rode the front wheel of another car and was spat into the wall during the third heat.
The feature saw Scott Owens off Pole, Steven Quirk off 2, and Brett Mitchell and Mick Dunn on the second row. Steven Quirk did a tyre only a few laps in and Brett Mitchell was sent to the rear and then eventually blackflagged due to contact, but with the fastest guys out Scott Owens continued to lead the field. Mick Dunn, Thomas Vickory and Stuart Fawcett all had extremely quick cars and constantly changed places 2nd, 3rd and 4th throughout the race. This battle pack held each other up and allowed Scott Owen to race without much pressure although his frequent small mistakes allowed them to stay in close contact. Towards the end of the race Thomas Vickory and Stuart Fawcett chose to run only the high line and put on some spectualar side by side racng with Scott Owen and Mick Dunn. Scott Owens would have been exstatic to see the checkered flag as Stuarts car was so strong at the end he would have needed less than another lap to seal the win for himself.
Scott Owens is a Lismore driver who has come up through the junior ranks but has been racing Stockers now for some years. With strong family support Scott has been a consistent top 5 performer at Lismore Speedway his home track. He had a lucky run, in his own words, at the title and it will be interested to see if he can turn this win into something more. Good Luck Scott Owens. Congratulations on the win.
I would also like to congratulate Mick Dunn for contesting the title in his ASCF fuel injected Street Stock. 3rd is a great result and you have proved that the fuel injected RSA Street Stockers and the ASCF Fuel injected Street Stocks are extremely closely matched. Good work and well done.
who's Mick Dunn?? If you really want to do a wrap of it all, please at least get it right.
funny thing i get called dunn a fair bit all good,,,,,, thanks u guys for the kind words about us at the title its means alot, that people pay attention to what u do,
and the weekend was fantastic on the drive up we stayed the night at junee and in the motel room my dad and i where discussing if maybe we where bringing a knife to a gunfight, in regards to the different regs, but in the end we where worried about nothing as i think the cars where very even, the first heat when the track was heavy i think i lacked a little but as the track changed and it went a little slick i think we got faster,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and i must thank eveyone involved in the running of dubbo what a fantastic set up , well run and a great track to race on , any track that u can run wide open into the turns and not lift is cool in my book,,,,,,,,,
we had a few people grumple about our car, but the very few that grumpled where overshadowed by the competitors, officials, and other crews that offered help, and where just glad to say hello, so thanks to those people, and to the RSA for putting up a united front in the form of street stockers, thank u, and where every it is next season we will be back,
and im not about being sober new years , but i suppose there is a first for eveything,
Well done wacker, was great to meet u guys ,a great effort and clean fast driving all night,a credit to u both ,cheers Gordo
