Does anyone know the nomination list for this years street stock topgun at Timmis Speedway on May 4th? I'm planning to head there and would like to find out who's competing for probably the last big street stock show for the season. If its anything like the field of cars that competed at the Redline King of the Mount, i'm sure this meeting is one not to be missed.

    Thanx

Thanx for that Druz. Thats one awesome field of streeties and definately worth the 400km drive. I couldnt help notice one absenteeism. Anthony Beare? Its not like him to miss a big street stock event. Seen him racing at Redline a couple of times this season and dishing it right up to the locals. Good luck to all competing.

Doesn't like Mildura. Only comes here for titles. Still a good field of drivers and at least a dozen with a strong chance on the night.

I think youre right about a dozen chances. Seen some good wins by Degoldi, Mick Clark, McClure and the Faux train lately. Can never count out drivers like Flatman, Lewis Clark, Gartner,Bull and Sheerman. Weather forecast is looking great so it should be a big turnout.

What a great nights racing at Timmis Saturday night. 33 street stocks took to the track and heat races were dominated by Darren Flatman, Robbie Faux and Mick Clark. Other heat winners were Stuart Robinson, Steve Gartner, Brad McClure, Jason Duell and Paul Hayes. All 8 of these drivers fought out the pole shuffle with Robbie Faux coming out on top followed by Darren Flatman, Mick Clark and Brad McClure. During the incident packed feature which saw the top 3 cars coming together (Faux, Flatman and Clark) it was left to Jason Duell to hang on against a fast finishing Stuart Robinson and Paul Salau.

Also on the program were a small field of AMCAs with Plugger McCarthy taking the feature win.
Modified sedans won by David Smith, Wingless Sprints won by Jason Gantz and Junior Sedans won by Jack Gartner with a great 2nd to Nathan Thorne driving his new car (charade i think).

Thanx to Timmis for a great nights racing and thanx to the roos for not hopping out in front of me on the 4hour drive home.
