Vic Prody Title...

    just heard a rumour that the scrutineer for the title down there tonight had an issue with engines not having seals on the heads. its production sedans and in the rules it states that engines seals are to be placed 1 each side of sump and 1 on timing cover. nothing stats that seals to be placed on heads.
    Everyone is getting very carried away with seals. Why have seals when we pull the engines down after titles..........
    I am a engine sealer and think its a bit of a joke.....

    Maybe its more to do with the injected engines having to be streetie spec so heads sealed ?

    Have herd Pumpa Laidlaw and Kelcoulis have had wins and the Clarks have had a second and third that's all I have seen on Facebook so far.

    Yeah but why arnt drivers and scrutineers notified. They need to let everybody know to put an addition in the RULE book. There isnt 2 scrutineers that interpret the rule book the same. How many times have you been through scrutineering and listened to 2 scrutineers argue to themselves about something on a car.......... basically evey time....

    Seals on the heads was mentioned at Collie for the Aus title but there still hasnt been anything officially put out there about it, when was the last time you got sent a tek torque cause I haven't seen one for a while.

    Hey monaroman68!!:))

    He was running strong but after leading for quite a few laps Laidlaw had a mechanicle failure in the front end
    which put him into the fence!!:cry::rolleyes:
