Re: Britten Elected President; Archerfield Awarded Australian Title At Dma Agm I think if you read it again you will see that this is a starting point and things will change shortly. I'm not sure where you're from or your involvement but maybe you can put your hand up as a state delegate?? The new structure will see a DMA Board consisting of President (Britten), Vice President (Wathen), Secretary (Shawn Mortimer) and Treasurer (Lynne Wathen) joined by three elected Committee members (Steve Robinson, Colin Clark and Nev Pezzutti). Following some further internal restructuring, the three Committee members will eventually be replaced by a delegate from each state.

Re: Britten Elected President; Archerfield Awarded Australian Title At Dma Agm ive been following dirt mods for some years now and i think the sport is becoming more and more enjoying to watch. However after attending the king of the ring at maryborough speedway i don't think its right that wathen is vice president. I believe hes the kind of person to give the sport a bad name by the way he carried on towards cannon in there incident.rubbing is racing right? he can dish it out and should be able to take it.

Re: Britten Elected President; Archerfield Awarded Australian Title At Dma Agm I wont comment about that incident as I wasn’t there and it maybe a one off incident. Committee people need to be very diplomatic and seen to be unbiased. As with all sporting bodies they are always looking for people to help out. Wathen may have some strengths that compliment the new board. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they put on the table to grow this division. Hopefully a feeder division/plan is being looked at. We'll have to wait and see

A feeder division, what could you mean? The Sportsman section was the best thing the V8 DIRT MODIFIEDS ever had but was lost to political crap.

Explayer i think you have got it wrong, there were to many wingers in sportman if you wont to race a division there is always going faster cars & slower in every division not every one has a big budget you race to what u can afford.

Re: Britten Elected President; Archerfield Awarded Australian Title At Dma Agm I understand there was positive talk of a leader class at the AGM so stay posted for more details! A lot of positive things came from the recent AGM that should be good for the division everywhere not just in the north!

Re: Britten Elected President; Archerfield Awarded Australian Title At Dma Agm I think the term used was tier 2 and the details have not been nutted out yet. there may be a trial car set up to see if it will work. It could take a year to sort it out, but at least their not saying no!

Re: Britten Elected President; Archerfield Awarded Australian Title At Dma Agm KE81 Thats correct a lot of work was put in by some interested people so we can sort out the proper running of the DMA it will sort it self out in a short time then the people who are interested in makeing the DMA Move forward will set up to the plate if members dont put there hands up to take on a position they would best step back and support those who are willing to taken a roll .
